When Anna Southon's daughter started school she searched the shops for a raincoat that would keep her daughter dry and, more importantly, make her visible to cars on the road. The coat had to pack away easily into her bag and be funky so her daughter would wear it. When all she could find were dark raincoats, she started Geared NZ to make high-visibility jackets and vests called ROADWORKS.
