Education Expo & Roadworks Glo Competition Winner! - June 2010

Congratulations to Charissa Towers of Mt Roskill who won our "Win a Roadworks Glo Jacket Competition", entered at the Education Expo in Auckland.
Good buying to those who picked up expo only specials. It was great to get so much positive feedback about the Roadworks products, plus some good ideas for future products, and lovely to meet previous and new customers.

Sizing Improvements - Feb 2010

We've been working hard to improve our jacket sizing and shaping, plus extending our Roadworks Vest range to include adult sizes S, M, L & XL, plus kids size 4yrs thanks to feedback from the market. This has delayed our new stock arrival date but it is now onto manufacturing so we're looking forward to new stock arriving soon.

Tots to Teens Competition Winner! - Dec 09

Parent and Child Show Auckland - Oct/Nov 2009 Thanks to everyone who visited us at the Auckland Parent and Child Show Oct 30 to Nov 1. We had 263 entries to our Win Roadworks for the Whole Family competition. The lucky winners were the Brownlee family of Hobsonville, taking away a selection of jackets to the value of $260. We'll get a photo of them soon onto the website sporting their new Roadworks gear. Thank you and good buying to those who picked up show specials over the weekend, saving up to 43%.

Geared New Zealand changes company ownership - June 2009 From June 22, Geared NZ is under new ownership and management. New Director, Kristi Drain, was attracted to the Roadworks brand due to it's unique design, family values and child safety focus. With two young girls of their own, he and partner Helen are acutely aware of road safety issues. "Anna has built a fantastic base to grow from. Our plan is to keep delivering an attractive quality product range while growing the range of products within the core focus of road safety. We've got lots of ideas so watch this space."
Ronald MacDonald House Charities - August 2008 A strong mind, a strong body, and a safe, supportive place to grow. These are the things that every child needs - and deserves.   Every little bit counts! This was the message we heard when we recently donated some ROADWORKS jackets to the Ronald MacDonald House Auckland Trust. The jackets are proving really practical as the children are wearing them when walking in the rain from Ronald MacDonald House up to Starship Children's Hospital. The fantastic staff working for the charity were really grateful for our support.
